Monisha Kaltenborn leaves Sauber - report

Cape Town - Monisha Kaltenborn has reportedly left Sauber with immediate effect, although official confirmation has yet to come from the team.

When BMW parted ways with Sauber, Peter Sauber regained control of the team and, in 2010, put Kaltenborn in as CEO and team boss.

Her reign, though, has been anything but a success.

The team's results have deteriorated leading to a point-less 2014 campaign and just two points scored last season.

As such Sauber have now reportedly parted ways with Kaltenborn.

Next season Sauber, who last year found new owners in Longbow Finance, will swap to Honda power.
