Termas de Río Hondo - Reigning double world champion Marc Marquez stormed to his 24th pole position in just 39 MotoGP races in Argentina on Saturday.

The Spanish Honda rider will line up alongside compatriot Aleix Espargaro (Suzuki) and Italy's Andrea Iannone (Ducati) on the front row of the grid.

The 22-year-old flew around the scorching Thermes de Rio Hondo circuit in 1min 37.802 to snatch pole for the second year in a row here.
