Hamilton wins home British GP

Cape Town - Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton has won the British Grand Prix at Silverstone ahead of his team-mate Nico Rosberg.

Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel finished third.

Hamilton extended his lead atop the drivers' standings to 17 points over Rosberg.
