Sakhir - Formula One keeps thinking of Michael Schumacher, with Ferrari's Fernando Alonso on Saturday posting a photo of himself driving in Bahrain Grand Prix practice in front of a huge letters "With You Michael" painted on a crash barrier.
The photo on Alonso's Twitter page came after Schumacher's manager Sabine Kehm said on Friday the record seven-time world champion was showing improvement in his recovery from severe head injuries sustained in a skiing accident on December 29 in France.
"Michael is making progress on his way. He shows moments of consciousness and awakening" from an induced coma in a hospital in Grenoble, Kehm said.
Doctors started the waking up process in late January.
"Hopefully the good news about Michael are true," Alonso wrote along with the photo, accompanied by "#KeepFightingMichael #strongman."
The encouraging news from France was received well by the whole F1 community, with world champion Sebastian Vettel saying "it is nice to hear that things are improving."
