Kallis adds hole-in-one to list of feats

Cape Town - He will go down as one of the greatest cricketers in South African history, but on Friday it was on the golf course where Jacques Kallis was making waves.

The 41-year-old took to Twitter to confirm his first ever hole-in-one.

Playing a round with television personality Dan Nicholl, Kallis aced the par-3 sixth hole at Kambaku Komatipoort Golf Club in Mpumalanga.

Nicholl cheekily called it "the greatest sporting moment" of Kallis' life, and the smile on the former Proteas all-rounder's face suggested it was right up there!

Kallis last represented the Proteas in 2014.

He will now continue his coaching career when he takes charge of the Cape Town Knight Riders in the inaugural T20 Global League, which gets underway in November this year.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
