It's a girl! Sergio Garcia becomes a dad

Cape Town - Reigning Masters champion Sergio Garcia has become a dad for the first time with the birth of a baby daughter, Azalea Adele.

The Spaniard announced the good news to his over 900 000 followers on Twitter.

'Beautiful Azalea Adele Garcia was born on March 14 at 1:54am. So proud and impressed with my wife @TheAngelaAkinsand the way she handled the pregnancy and delivery! Love you both so much.'

Garcia will defend his Masters title from April 5-8 at Augusta National Golf Course.
