Ernie Els joins Donald Trump for a round of golf

Cape Town - New USA President Donald Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe were joined by Ernie Els for a round of golf at Trump National Golf Club on Saturday.

REVEALED: The 1 South African Donald Trump follows on Twitter

Els, who owns a home near the Trump-owned Trump National Golf Club in Florida, has a section on his website which classes Trump as a “friend”, describing him as “the most recognized businessman in the world, and the Trump brand is readily acknowledged as representing the gold standard around the globe.”

Els is the second star golfer to enjoy a round with Trump in recent months, after Tiger Woods did so last December

Els was due to play in last week's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in California, but tweeted that he had to withdraw due to a neck injury.
