Woods falls short in Dubai

Dubai - Tiger Woods is still seeking his first tournament trophy in more than a year after coming up short at the Dubai Desert Classic with a final round 3-over 75.

It put Woods at 4-under 284 for the tournament and well down the leader board.

Woods' final spot is still unclear. At least a dozen golfers had a chance for victory when Woods reached the club house.

Woods began Sunday just a stroke back, but struggled early with two bogeys. He wrapped up with a double bogey on the 18th.

Woods won in Dubai in 2006 and 2008.
