Westwood remains world No 1

London - Lee Westwood stays top of the golf world rankings for a third straight week despite being inactive.

The Englishman ended Tiger Woods's five-year reign atop the rankings on November 1 as the American's form slump in a winless season continued.

Germany's Martin Kaymer remains in third with Phil Mickelson fourth.

World top 10 rankings:

1. Lee Westwood (ENG) 8.70pts

2. Tiger Woods (USA) 8.25

3. Martin Kaymer (GER) 7.81

4. Phil Mickelson (USA) 7.61

5. Steve Stricker (USA) 6.94

6. Jim Furyk (USA) 6.87

7. Paul Casey (ENG) 6.16

8. Luke Donald (ENG) 5.90

9. Graeme McDowell (NIR) 5.57

10. Rory McIlroy (NIR) 5.53
