Tiger faces love child claims

Orlando - A woman who allegedly had Tiger Woods's love child is said to be negotiating £2m hush money from the scandal-plagued golfer.

According to the Mail Online website, Theresa Rogers confided to a friend that she believed Woods was the father of her six-year-old daughter, according to a report in the US.

Now the 48-year-old has allegedly hired Los Angeles celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred to represent her in talks with the golfer's representatives.

The lawyer is already thought to have negotiated a £3m deal for another of Woods's alleged mistresses, 34-year-old New York club promoter Rachel Uchitel, in return for her silence.

Rogers, a fitness fanatic from Wellington, Florida, was said to be also having an affair with a Serbian basketball player at the time her baby was born. Quoting sources close to Rogers, RadarOnline website said she was actively trying to have a baby by the golf star with the blessing of her fourth husband, clothing designer Wayne Rogers, who was unable to get her pregnant.

Rogers emerged earlier this week as the latest and oldest of the golfer's alleged 11 lovers. She reportedly had a five year relationship with Woods dating from before his 2004 marriage to Swedish wife Elin Nordegren.

Rogers has not commented publicly on the love child claims, but RadarOnline said she has boasted to friends about the relationship.

"Theresa was bragging about her affair with Tiger last week. She wasn't making a secret of it," said a source.
