Chonburi - He may not be able to say his name but Charl Schwartzel certainly knows Thitiphun Chuayprakong's talent, tipping the 20-year-old for future glory after coming second at the Thailand Golf Championship.
Speaking after waltzing to victory at the Asian Tour event with an 11-shot win, the South African 2011 Masters winner praised the little known Thitiphun for hanging on to second place against a star-studded field in Chonburi.
"I can't pronounce his name... but the guy played well," a smiling Schwartzel said."He hits it very short and playing golf on this course the way he did, it was pretty phenomenal."
"I was impressed with what I saw and that he managed to grind out a score."
The pair played together for the final two days and although Thitiphun was unable to reel-in the masterful Schwartzel, he played well enough to secure joint-second with Masters champion Bubba Watson.
"I'm happy with my round but slightly disappointed I didn't finish second alone," Thitiphun said after posting a 70, which left him on 14-under overall.
"I'm going to play with more confidence now... this will be an inspiration for me because I want to win on the Asian Tour."
