Cape Town - This past Saturday, Rickie Fowler and PUMA Golf showed support of Waste Management’s ‘Green Out’.
Fowler, who shot 9-under at the second round of the Phoenix Open, supported the ‘Green Out’ by ditching his typically bright gear for an all green look.
“The ‘Green Out’ is a great idea and I’m excited to support it,” said Fowler.
“PUMA has set out to become more sustainable and wearing all green today was a great way for me to showcase my support of Waste Management’s ‘Green Out’ in addition to PUMA’s sustainable initiatives.”
PUMA Golf and Fowler showed their support of Waste Management’s ‘Green Out’ with a head-to-toe green ensemble. Rickie sported PUMA Golf’s Fitted Monoline Cap, Golf Pant, Golf Performance Polo, High Shine Belt and Cell Fusions all in a specially designed green color to support the eco-sensitive efforts being made at the tournament. Fowler kept true to his sense of style by wearing his PUMA Golf favourites, the Fitted Monoline Cap and Cell Fusion shoes.
In further support of the ‘Green Out’ PUMA Golf gave Fowler a few extra green Fitted Monoline Caps that he signed and tossed out to the fans at the 16th hole. During his walk down the fairway, Rickie threw about 15 hats to the fans.
PUMA believes in contributing to a better world and has created the PUMAVision Division to set up programs to help PUMA foster creativity, support global peace and become more sustainable. Most recently, PUMA has launched the Clever Little Bag; an eco-friendly alternative to the traditional shoebox that uses 65% less paper and reduces energy, water and diesel consumption during manufacturing by over 60% a year.
