rankings are based on positions finished,not on colour or any other characteristics. Racism goes along with stupidity so try not to follow that stupid vein of thought. Dont be pro black,thats racist, be pro people and let the rankings state who is the best golfer.not the best golfer of colur.that is also being sepratist. blinkered idiot.

Great reading back to the early comments about Ernie, he sure made some of you eat your words now that he is back up to number 6. As for those racist comments by Sipho et al, its sad for you to live in that world my friend. I am proudly South Africa, and happy for all the non racists that live here
Rank5/12/2010 3:09 PM
Black, white, yellow, green - You earn your ranking by playing good golf!! If you win, you rank, if you lose, you drop... Why are there so little blacks? BECAUSE THEY DON'T WIN!!! This isn't rugby or soccer you idiots! Golf is one of the only game you earn your place and get invited to tournaments. Not a bloody quota system. I support Habana, I support The Beast and I support JP Duminy... Hell, I think Woods is great at no.1... so please just stop nagging about something you don't understand?
Ant4/19/2010 1:45 PM
Yes, I agree - the World's Golfing ranking body are racists, otherwise you would see many more black names (other than Kamte) on this list. We should send them to Ju-Ju's revolutinary house to help educate them - Bastards and bloody agents! Soon they'll take Tigers name off their list. Eishh
@anonymous4/13/2010 12:29 PM
He won 2 events in a rown you nit
Mike Hunt3/22/2010 12:41 PM
Sipho... there are plenty of blacks represented in golf... they are the one carrying the bags...
Mzito3/16/2010 9:32 AM
I guess. Ernie's critics are eating a humble pie right now. Kamte is also making SA proud abroad, by the way he is 100% SA born and bred so not all blacks come from Zim. and race is never a consideration on the golf course so keep it where it belongs, politics.
James3/15/2010 11:46 AM
Just so that you know, it was through Ernies golf foundation that James Kamte was afforded the oppertunity to place golf professionally, an option that would never have been on the table for a man with 13 siblings from a humble background.
@Sipho_Mojale3/5/2010 2:14 AM
They not on the list as when we try teach them golf, they steal the clubs and sell them for alcohol.
Gary2/23/2010 8:47 AM
@Thembalabantubonke.... Do you know who Janes Kamte is? you are an absolute idiot, please refrian from being part of society
Chris2/15/2010 12:28 PM
To Themba and Sipho. You guys will drive me mad - why always play the race card. The truth of the matter is - they are just not good enough - do you want the rated players to hold back to force affirmative action. All you two are doing is to create the impression that the only way african golfers can make it onto the list is through affirmative action. Is that the only way africans can succeed - clearly not. You two are a disgrace to all the african sportmen that made national sides on merit. Golf unfortunately has no place for idiotic views like yours since one can can only be judged on performance ond nothing else - not the colour of your skin - only performance. So please get real .
Anti-idiot@Sipho2/13/2010 6:58 PM
You must be one of Malema's script writers...why can't you support your country's representatives. Is the thought of supporting a white African so nauseating (that means you want to vomit) that you would rather just want a black African there to follow. If that's the case why not just stick to supporting Tiger...after all, him and J.Z. share a lot in common.
Sipho Mojale2/10/2010 1:59 PM
jeee themba... i am on your side my comrade... where are the black man in this? They must make a rule so we can support tru africans
Cereal_Killa2/10/2010 10:57 AM
Anyone have any ideass as to why Immelman has fallen down the rankings so badly??
@Tembalabantubonke from Tuffy2/9/2010 6:50 AM
Read the article before you whinge about not being included by the whiteys your president in Zim hates so much - it CLEARLY reads that players are South African unless otherwise stated, and both Brendan and Marc have their names identified as Zimbabwean, not South African. Please explain your whinge about adoption of these two, given you misread the article?
Proffie2/1/2010 10:25 PM
Ernie and Retief are legends in their own lifetime. They are both a pleasure to watch. Charl Schwartzel too is a joy to behold, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the top 20 of the world before the year is out. As for pigmentation...guys, leave that to the brainless politicians.
Stompie van Amstel12/15/2009 3:11 AM
@thembalabantubonke, zimbabwean "black brothers" like "Beast" Mtawarira, Brian Mujati and Tonderai Chavhanga have been adopted by the springboks. So it is not only only white zimbabwean sportsmen that S.A. makes it's own.
re: Thembalabantubonke12/8/2009 9:49 PM
Dude please...we are all humans here, Black or white does it really matter. Time to get over the political bull#@!#. Come on man it's about the game and not pigmentation of the player.
@anonymous user11/26/2009 3:12 PM
When you put that piece of grass down that your smoking you will realise that the rankings is based on the players performance. Thus Ernie is till ranked 17th in the world, and hence his number one position in SA. He is coming back to top form. Very far from a "player of the past"
Golf123411/26/2009 3:04 PM
You guys obviously dont know how the rankings work? Ernie is the #1 SA player at the moment Anonymous so he will be right up there. Rory can be a yank with no problems, he is worthless to us , we have many top sa golfers up and coming so cheers Rory! The Zimbabweans are on our list because they have played most of there golf here but were only born in Zim, If we had to adopt the "Black brothers" of Zim we would not have place to walk here in SA Smart guy!!!
@Thembalabantubonke11/26/2009 1:51 PM
@Thembalabantubonke you are such an idiot, how many of your black brothers from zimbabwe is here f@cking up our beautiful country, go and scr$w yourself this is about golf not politics
Ernie fan11/25/2009 12:39 PM
If Ernie is a player in the past - I would love to also be in the past. I walked with him in Shanghai a few weeks ago and his golf is still magic - and see what happened when a few putts dropped. Don't write Ernie off - his talent is unbelievable and he can stay at or near the top for many years yet.
Thembalabantubonke10/21/2009 8:39 AM
Why is Marc Cayeux and Brendon De Jonge on this list? They are Zimbabwean. Why do we often adopt white Zimbabweans but do not such for their black brothers? No South African in the top 20?

Anonymous User6/16/2009 10:37 PM
