Poulter into world top 10

London - Ian Poulter's runner-up finish in Dubai on Sunday has made him the fourth English player in the world top 10.

The Ryder Cup star, who won in Hong Kong the previous week, joins top-ranked Lee Westwood, Paul Casey and Luke Donald, with Ulsterman Rory McIlroy also in the elite group.

Tiger Woods stays second having seen his five-year reign atop the rankings ended by Westwood on October 31.
