Playboy's Hefner blasts Tiger

Los Angeles - Hugh Hefner may have had a horde of girlfriends at a time but he never cheats. The Playboy icon doesn't agree with Tiger Woods's infidelity, saying he should have honored his commitment to his wife.

According to the International Business Times website, the 84-year-old adult magazine honcho says the controversial golfer's sex addiction excuse is just a "cop-out".

Responding to whether he thinks Woods can overcome his playboy transgressions, Hefner said, "He can if he wants to. But this whole idea that it's a sex addiction is a cop-out. Some people become obsessed with sex, but it's not like an alcohol or drug addiction.

"He did it because he could get away with it."

And although he is constantly surrounded by beautiful women, Hefner says he never cheats.

"When you get married, you make a commitment. I had a lot of girlfriends, but it's not the same as cheating. I don't cheat. I am very open about what I do," he said.
