Washington - A trio of NBA stars - including the league's reigning Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry - made up US President Barack Obama's vacation golf foursome at the Farm Neck Golf Club Friday.
Obama, who is ending the first of two weeks on Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, took in a round with Curry, his dad Dell Curry - a retired NBA player - and former All-Star Ray Allen, who last played with the Miami Heat.
Curry led the Golden State Warriors to the National Basketball Association title over the Cleveland Cavaliers in June, setting a record for three-pointers made in a single playoff run.
Obama - a lifelong basketball fan - hosted Curry for a private Oval Office meeting earlier this year and has described him as the best shotmaker in the game.
Curry is reputed to be a solid golfer, playing with a single-digit handicap and regularly beating his father, who mainly played for the Cavaliers during his NBA career.
Earlier in the week, Obama played with Allen and another former NBA player, Hall of Famer Alonzo Mourning.
