Others notable golfers who qualified included Charlie Wi, Kevin Streelman, DA Points and Steve Marino.
Love, who is captain of the 2012 USA Ryder Cup team, qualified by playing 36 holes in two-under at the Scioto Country Club and Ohio State's Scarlet Course. The 48-year-old Love is the 1997 PGA Champion.
Pampling of Australia has five career international wins.
The US Open will take place the week after next at San Francisco's The Olympic Club.
