Cape Town - South Africa's Ernie Els has jumped into the Top 10 in the latest world rankings following his victory at the CA Championship on Sunday.
In Monday's rankings, Els finds himself in eighth position, up from 20th last week.
Charl Schwartzel, who finished second, four stroke behind Els in the WGC event at Doral's famed "Blue Monster" course, is up to 27th in the ranking, from 35th last week.
Els, who pocketed a cool $1.4 million for his win, will no doubt be thrilled by his timely boost in form with the Masters, the year's first Major, scheduled for April 8-11.
Following his win on Sunday, Els's odds on winning the Masters have been cut to 14/1 - behind Tiger Woods (4/1) and Phil Mickelson (6/1).
