Beijing - Masters champion Bubba Watson and two-time Open winner Ernie Els will star in this year's $7 million WGC-HSBC Champions golf tournament in Guangdong, China, next month, organisers said on Friday.
Watson, who won his first major at Augusta in April, and Els, who has four major titles to his name, will tee up alongside 2010 PGA champion Martin Kaymer and four-time major winner Phil Mickelson at Mission Hills from November 1-4.
Also due to compete over the Olazabal Course are other major winners Keegan Bradley, Graeme McDowell, Louis Oosthuizen and Paul Lawrie.
"Winning my first major at the Masters in April has made this an amazing year but I haven't won since so I'd love to end my year with my first World Golf Championship win," Watson said.
"Asian golf is definitely on the up and up and I am excited to go there and see it and experience it for myself," he added in comments released by the organisers.
World number three Luke Donald and fourth-ranked Lee Westwood are also due to compete at the event taking place at Mission Hills for the first time after seven editions at the Sheshan International Golf Club in Shanghai.
The tournament, one of Asia's richest, is run by the International Federation of PGA Tours, which includes the Asian Tour, European Tour, and the United States' PGA Tour among others.
The course was designed by Jose Maria Olazabal, the captain of Europe's recent triumphant Ryder Cup team.
