Els paired with major winners

Charleston, South Carolina - South Africa's Open Championship winner, Ernie Els, will be paired with Masters winner Bubba Watson and US Open champ Webb Simpson for the opening two rounds of next week's PGA Championship.

They will tee off at the first hole in the afternoon on Thursday and then go out in the morning from the 10th tee in the second round.

Four-time PGA Championship winner Tiger Woods will be paired with defending champion Keegan Bradley and 2010 winner Martin Kaymer for the first two rounds.

Woods, Bradley and Kaymer will tee off from No 10 on Thursday morning, then from the first hole in the afternoon on Friday at The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort.

Two groups ahead of Woods's threesome will be Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson and Jim Furyk.

World No 1 Luke Donald is featured in a group with Brandt Snedeker and Zach Johnson.

The group after Donald's will be ex-champions Phil Mickelson (2005), Padraig Harrington (2008) and American Ryder Cup captain Davis Love.
