Portrush - Welshman Jamie Donaldson ended a 10-year winless drought to capture a maiden European Tour victory with success in the Irish Open at Royal Portrush on Sunday.
Donaldson, 36, shot a final round 66 to win by four strokes with an 18-under par tally.
Three players, England's Anthony Wall (69), Spain's Rafael Cabrera-Bello (66) and Paraguay's Fabrizio Zanotti (66) shared second place on 14-under par.
Donaldson also becomes the third Welshman to capture the Irish Open after Ian Woosnam (1988, 1989) and Stephen Dodd (2005).
The Pontypridd-born Donaldson collected a first prize cheque of €333 330 and nearly €200 000 more than his prior best cash prize.
World No 2 Rory McIlroy shot a last day 67 to share 10th place on 11-under par.
