Cape Town - A match between Mpumalanga and Easterns at the Cricket South Africa (CSA) Girls Under-19 week in Pretoria has left the cricketing world bemused.
On Monday, 15-year-old Shania-Lee Swart scored a blistering 160 off 86 balls in a T20 match against Easterns - while the rest of her team-mates contributed zero with the bat.
Swart, who opened for Mpumalanga, faced the majority of the strike and smashed 18 fours and 12 sixes.
The only other runs added to Mpumalanga's team total was nine extras, which took the team to 169 for 8 at the innings break.
Chasing 170 to win, Easterns got off to a bad start, as they lost their opening batsman Moshoanae Tshabile who was bowled out for zero by Swart (yes, she bowls too).
Easterns under-19 girls failed to get over the line, as they could only manage 127 for 6 in their 20 overs with Swart the pick of the Mpumalanga bowlers with her two for 21.
Mpumalanga won by 42 runs.
According to ESPNCricinfo, this amazing batting display comes hot on the heels of another stunning feat - where she scored 289 out of her team's 352 in a 50-over game last week.
