London - South Africa fast bowler Hardus Viljoen has joined Kent for their final four County Championship matches of the season, the south-east English side announced on Friday.
The 27-year-old, who dismissed England captain Alastair Cook with his first ball in his only Test in January, has taken 325 wickets in 83 first-class matches.
Viljoen will be available for the Second Division games against Gloucestershire, Sussex, Northamptonshire and leaders Essex as Kent bid for promotion to English county cricket's top flight.
"I'm delighted to join Kent and experience county cricket," he said in a club statement.
"I'm looking forward to representing Kent and I will give it my all as it's always been a dream to play county cricket."
