Cape Town - South Africa 'A' saw their latest match in the Quadrangular One-Day Series against India 'A' end in a no result after rain forced the clash to be abandoned in Mackay on Thursday.
Only 35.2 overs were possible at Ray Mitchell Oval, Harrup Park, when the wet weather arrived.
The South Africans had won the toss and reduced the Indians to 140/4 at that stage thanks to two wickets for Andile Phehlukwayo (2/23).
Impressive duo Malusi Siboto (1/14) and Dwaine Pretorius (1/25) also excelled.
For the opposition, captain and top-scorer Manish Pandey (47) was dismissed by Phehlukwayo, who had completed seven overs when they were taken off the field. Kedar Jadhav was unbeaten on 41.
The result means both teams shared the four points on offer, with India now moving top of the table. They have 11 points, one more than the National Performance Squad (10).
South Africa 'A' is third, followed by Australia 'A' - both teams currently have seven points apiece and meet next on Sunday.
All four teams have played four games each with the South Africans left to play the two local teams.
The top two teams will meet in the Sunday, September 4 final.
