Cape Town - Proteas legend Herschelle Gibbs has agreed a deal to return to the Lashings All-Stars for the 2016 season.
The big-hitting South African had been in talks with the All-Stars for a while and the team announced on their official website that an agreement was reached this week.
Gibbs has enjoyed two previous spells with Lashings, the last being in 2014 when he linked up with England batsman Nick Compton, who was handed an international recall last week. Compton last played for England in early 2013 but was dropped before the Ashes series.
Gibbs, 41, played 90 Tests, 248 ODIs and 23 T20Is for South Africa.
