Finn ruled out of remainder of SA tour

London - Pace bowler Steven Finn has been ruled out of the remainder of England's tour of South Africa because of injury and will be replaced by Liam Plunkett for the one-day and Twenty20 squads.

The England and Wales Cricket Board says Finn "felt discomfort on day two of the third test and scans revealed a left side strain."

Finn will stay in South Africa as a spectator until after the fourth and final test, which starts Friday. England has taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.

Plunkett is currently in the United Arab Emirates with the England Lions team and will head for South Africa over the weekend after playing in the first two 50-over games against Pakistan A.
