Nottingham - South Africa captain Graeme Smith top-scored with 70 in a total of 186 for seven in his side's ICC World Twenty20 warm-up match against Pakistan at Trent Bridge here on Monday.

The left-handed opener, who won the toss, faced 53 balls with one six and nine fours while Herschelle Gibbs weighed in with 42.

All-rounder Albie Morkel added 32 in an innings which petered out towards the finish.

Spinners Saeed Ajmal and Shahid Afridi took four wickets between them.
