Tendulkar falls short - again

Adelaide - Sachin Tendulkar was out for 13 in the second innings of the fourth Test against Australia in Adelaide on Friday to again miss out on his 100th international century.

LIVE scorecard from Adelaide

Tendulkar was caught close to the wicket off spinner Nathan Lyon and will now have to wait until the one-day series in Australia for his next opportunity to achieve the elusive goal.

He has been stranded on 99 Test and one-day international centuries since scoring 111 against South Africa in the World Cup in March last year.

His last Test century was 146 against South Africa in Cape Town over a year ago.
