Three tons for Dolphins

Potchefstroom - Thee splendid centuries and a new 8th wicket partnership of 178 by Quinton Friend (78) and Pierre du Bruyn (89) enabled the Dolphins to close their innings on 543 for eight on the second day of the SuperSport match against the Lions played at Senwes Park on Friday. The centurions were Imran Khan (122), HD Ackerman and De Bruyn on a unbeaten 116.

The Lions lost a second wicket in the last over of the day when Darryn Smith trapped Jean Symes leg before on 52. The Lions have a deficit of 447 runs with eight wickets in hand on 96 for two.
