No second chance for KP

Durban - There was no second chance for Kevin Pietersen to shine when his second and final first-class match in South Africa ended early on Saturday.

England batsman Pietersen was out for a duck on Friday in the first innings of the Dolphins' match against the Titans at Kingsmead and it proved to be his only innings.

The Titans, who trailed by 42 runs on the first innings, collapsed to 114 all out in the second innings and the Dolphins won by nine wickets with more than a day to spare.

Pietersen, who had hoped to find form ahead of England's Ashes tour of Australia, made 36 in his only other innings, in his first match against the Warriors.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
