Pretoria - After a night of torrential rain, the sun came out on Sunday to allow the Knights to wrap up their Supersport Series match against the Titans at SuperSport Park.
Full scorecard
The Knights needed just five overs and four balls to knock off the required 25 runs and claim victory by six wickets.
On Saturday, the Titans were all out for 270 in their second innings, setting the Knights a target of 98 to win.
The visitors set about their task with gusto, but some good bowling by Marchant de Lange and a brief shower of rain prevented them from wrapping up the match early.
De Lange took three wickets for 55 runs, and after he bowled Reeza Hendricks for 38, the umpires took the players off for bad light.
After an initial delay for rain, the Knights made sure of their victory on Sunday morning, although Morné Morkel took his second wicket of the match when Ryan Bailey got a thin edge to wicketkeeper Heino Kuhn, with 16 runs still required. Bailey made 26.
Obus Pienaar made sure of the win in the next over, when he flayed De Lange, smashing three fours and a superb six, pulled over square leg, to take the Knights to 100 for four. Pienaar was not out on 22.
Ryan McLaren, with an excellent unbeaten 133 off 210 balls, was named player-of-the-match.
