Benoni - Heino Kuhn struck his second century of the season as the Titans dominated the second day of their Sunfoil Series clash against the Dolphins at Willowmoore Park on Friday.
The opening batsman was one of only two wickets to fall in the day and notched up 129 from 219 deliveries before doing so.
It was the 17th century of his first-class career and allowed the Titans to reach 267 for two when bad light stopped play around an hour ahead of the scheduled close.
Kuhn shared in a fine opening partnership of 181 with Grant Mokoena for the first wicket with their stand coming from 53.4 overs.
Mokoena proved a fine foil during the stand and collected a slightly more sedate 75 from 153 balls. He was first to go when Keshav Maharaj (2-71) had him stumped by wicketkeeper Daryn Smit during the afternoon session as the hosts made a confident start replying to the visitors' 357.
Kuhn then shared a 55-run stand for the second wicket with Theunis de Bruyn, who was unbeaten at the close on 43, before he became Maharaj's second victim by being trapped leg before wicket.
Qaasim Adams (seven) was the other not out batsman at the close as the top-of-the-table home team ended proceedings in command.
