Bloemfontein - Twelve wickets fell on the first day on the Sunfoil Series match between the Knights and the Dolphins here at Chevrolet Park on Thursday.
The Knights sent the Dolphins in to bat and dismissed the visitors for a meagre 221.
Calvin Savage, who represented South Africa at under-19 level, top-scored with 55 while
Kyle Abbott contributed 45. The wickets were shared by
Malusi Siboto, taking 4-37, Johan van der Wath and Dillon du Preez, who took three apiece.

At the close of play, the Knights trailed by 167 runs with eight wickets in hand.
