Titans, Dolphins washed out

Johannesburg - With a third successive day's play lost to a wet outfield, the domestic four day match between the Titans and the Dolphins was abandoned without a ball being bowled, in Benoni on Saturday.

Play was called off on what was scheduled for day three, and with the first two days also abandoned without any play, the umpires decided to call off the remaining fourth day's play on Sunday.

Heavy rains in the area leading up to the match which was scheduled to start on Thursday, meant the field could not properly drain with large portions of the playing surface unsuitable for cricket.
