Rain persists at Kingsmead

Durban - Day two of the Sunfoil Series match between the Dolphins and the Titans has suffered the same fate as day one, with the two sides unable to take the field at Kingsmead.

Persistent rain made any play impossible, but the forecast for Friday suggests that the game may be able to get underway then.

The Titans had travelled down to Durban a day early on Tuesday after the match was brought forward by 24 hours to avoid a clash with former President Nelson Mandela’s funeral on Sunday.

The Titans are currently fifth and the Dolphins sixth in the Sunfoil Series standings, though both sides have played a game less than the other franchises.
