Local cricket rescheduled

Cape Town - The funeral of the late former President of South Africa, Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela is scheduled for Sunday, 15 December 2013.

Cricket South Africa (CSA) has taken a decision to reschedule the following matches to ensure that no cricket under its jurisdiction is played on this day.

Sunfoil 4-Day Domestic:

Dolphins v Titans, Kingsmead, Durban - 11-14 December

CSA Provincial 3-Day
Eastern Province v Namibia, St George’s Park, Port Elizabeth - 12-14 December
Northerns v KwaZulu-Natal Inland, SuperSport Park, Centurion - 12-14 December
North West v KwaZulu-Natal, Senwes Park, Potchefstroom - 12-14 December

CSA Provincial 1-Day:

Eastern Province v Namibia, St George’s Park, Port Elizabeth - 16 December
Northerns v KwaZulu-Natal Inland, SuperSport Park, Centurion - 16 December
North West v KwaZulu-Natal, Senwes Park, Potchefstroom - 16 December

CSA Boys U-15 Week:

The T20 matches scheduled for the 3rd day of the week have been cancelled.

Further re-shuffling of the week’s fixtures will be communicated in due course.

Coca-Cola Khaya Majola Cricket Week:

The opening function scheduled for 15 December, has been cancelled.
