Pretoria - Sri Lanka are ranked fith on the ICC Test rankings and although the majority of their squad is relatively unknown, Proteas batsman Hashim Amla believes their upcoming three-Test series will be challenging.

The first Test starts at SuperSport Park in Centurion on Thursday, a ground where Amla has a good record. He has put up a score of more than fifty in six of the seven innings he has played there, with an average of 94.66 in five matches including 3 hundreds and 3 fifties.
“I think the fact that we haven’t seen them also makes them a bit dangerous,” said Amla.
“We have tried to do as much video analysis as we can, but as I said we haven’t seen a lot of their bowlers, just a couple of them from the matches that they have played, but from that respect it is probably going to be a bit more challenging for us.
“We don’t know how the wicket is going to play like but in the same token, they are a good team, I know they haven’t done well in the recent past but they certainly have some very good players that we need to be wary of.”
