Sehwag out of Asia Cup final

Dambulla - India's team manager says opener Virender Sehwag has been ruled out of the Asia Cup final because of a hamstring injury.

Ranjib Biswal says Sehwag will head home Monday but no decision has been made on his replacement for the final against Sri Lanka on Thursday.

India is also scheduled to play a preliminary round match against Sri Lanka on Tuesday which will have no bearing on the tournament.

Sehwag struggled with the injury in India's match against Pakistan on Saturday when he was out for 10 runs.
