Sangakkara lifts Sri Lanka

Mumbai - Skipper Kumar Sangakkara top-scored again with 59 off 31 balls to lift Sri Lanka to 206 for seven against a sloppy India side in the second and final Twenty20 international on Saturday.

Sangakkara underlined his current good form by hammering eight fours and two sixes after stroking a match-winning 78 in the opening game in Nagpur on Wednesday.

Occasional spinner Yuvraj Singh claimed three for 23 but India failed to check the scoring after dropping five catches.

Sangakkara added 81 runs for the second wicket with Sanath Jayasuriya (31). Chinthaka Jayasinghe, dropped twice in one over, made 38 and all-rounder Angelo Mathews hit 26 not out off 13 deliveries.
