SL supports ICC restructure

Colombo - Sri Lanka Cricket has decided to support an International Cricket Council resolution giving greater power to India, England and Australia in the governing body.

Eight of the 10 test-playing nations voted this month to accept wide-ranging reforms.

Sri Lanka abstained, saying it needed time to discuss the amendments, and Pakistan also abstained.

SLC says in a statement its executive committee assessed revised proposals regarding governance and competitions, and all members were satisfied.
