Proteas focus shifts to India

Johannesburg - South Africa has shifted its focus to the upcoming battle with No 1 ranked Test team India after its players returned home from the United Arab Emirates and the drawn series with Pakistan.

Cricket South Africa chief executive Gerald Majola congratulated the Proteas players on Thursday for a "successful" tour to the Emirates, where South Africa and Pakistan drew both Tests. South Africa won the Twenty20 and one-day series.

Ranked number two, South Africa hosts India in a three-Test series beginning on December 16. The countries also contest five one-dayers and a Twenty20 game.
