Foul-mouthed Steyn fined

Cape Town - South Africa fast bowler Dale Steyn has been fined for using offensive language in Friday's second Twenty20 against Pakistan.

The International Cricket Council said on Sunday that Steyn was fined 10 percent of his match fee. Pakistan won the game at Newlands by six runs.

Steyn was fined for swearing at the end of his second over and soon after being hit for six by Pakistan opener Ahmed Shehzad.

The ICC said Steyn admitted the charge and accepted the punishment proposed by match referee Andy Pycroft. A disciplinary hearing was not required.

Pakistan also won Sunday's first one-day international in Cape Town to lead the three-game ODI series. The teams drew the T20 series 1-1.
