Amla, Steyn boost for Proteas

Cape Town - The Proteas will welcome the return of key batsman Hashim Amla and strike bowler Dale Steyn for the third ODI against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.

Amla, who missed the first two ODIs due to the birth of his second child, returned to the UAE on Sunday while Steyn is also back after being sent home to rest after the Test series.

Amla will replace the struggling Colin Ingram who has since returned home to play in the domestic One-Day Cup. Ingram played for the Warriors against the Dolphins on Sunday and scored 41 off 61 balls.

The five-game series is currently level at 1-1 heading into Wednesday's third clash.
