CSA congratulates Proteas

Johannesburg - CSA CEO Gerald Majola has congratulated the Proteas ODI team following their 67-run win over West Indies on Friday which gave them an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series.

Majola said: “Hats off to Graeme Smith and the Proteas for clinching the ODI and Twenty20 series against West Indies.

“They showed skill, steel and savvy to come back from the disappointment of the ICC World Twenty20 performances to win like this in such convincing fashion.

“We look forward to them continuing this winning way for the remainder of their matches in the West Indies.”

The Proteas take on West Indies in the fourth ODI on Sunday at 15:30 (SA time), with the fifth and final ODI scheduled for Thursday, June 3, also at 15:30.
