Rain thwarts Tigers' charge

Dhaka - The third and final one-day international between India and Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla stadium was called off Thursday due to persistent rain.

The visitors, electing to bat, were 119-9 in 34.2 overs when heavy rain interrupted the day-night clash for the third time in the innings.

India pocketed the series 2-0, having won the first two games by seven wickets and 47 runs respectively.
