Cape Town - Allan Donald has been confirmed as bowling coach of IPL side, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), while Ray Jennings has been replaced as head coach by New Zealander Daniel Vettori, the ESPNcricinfo website reports.
Jennings had coached the Royal Challengers for several seasons, while Vettori's appointment is unique, as he is still an active player who currently plays for the Brisbane Heat in Australia's Big Bash League.
Trent Woodhill, who is currently Australian David Warner's personal batting coach, was also named as batting and fielding coach for the season.
Donald, who coached the now-defunct Pune Warriors last season, is also the bowling coach of South Africa's national team.
Meanwhile, the Royal Challengers also retained Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers ahead of the 2014 IPL auction.
January 10 is the deadline for the IPL franchises to announce their list of retained players, ahead of the auction on February 12.
