Cape Town - Former Titans coach Richard Pybus could return to the franchise for a third time, a report on the Volksblad website indicates.
Pybus has applied for the vacant job of Titans coach after Matthew Maynard stepped down to return to England.
The 48-year-old Pybus also had two previous stints at the Titans. He has also coached Border, Pakistan, the Cape Cobras and Bangladesh.
While in charge of the the Cobras and Titans he was South Africa's named Coach of the Year.
He won three trophies in two seasons in the Cape but political interference from the board saw him resign. He coached Bangladesh for five months in 2012, but resigned due to contractual differences.
Other candidates reportedly also eying the Titans job are former Highveld Lions and Cobras coach Shukri Conrad, ex-Australian fast bowler Craig McDermott and Proteas conditioning coach Rob Walter.
