Brisbane - Cricket South Africa says national team coach Gary Kirsten will briefly leave the tour of Australia to return home for a few days.
Kirsten has previously broken up his travels with the team to spend time with family back in South Africa.
CSA says Kirsten will meet up with the squad again in Adelaide on Monday for the second Test, which starts in that city on November 22.

The players, meanwhile, will stay in Brisbane for a four-day break following the series opener.

The teams are playing a three-Test series. The third match is in Perth from November 30.
