India v SA Test called off

Cape Town - The second Test between India and South Africa in Bangalore has been called off due to persistent rain.

India were 80-0 at the end of the first day's play in reply to South Africa's first innings score of 214 before four days of play were washed out.

India lead the four-game series 1-0, with the third Test scheduled to start in Nagpur on November 25.
