Proteas v Black Caps to be broadcast in NZ

Cape Town - Cricket South Africa and SKY have agreed terms to broadcast the two match Sunfoil Test Series between the Standard Bank Proteas and the Black Caps exclusively on SKY Sport in New Zealand.

The opening Test will be played in Durban starting this Friday, with the second Test scheduled for Centurion on 27 August 2016.

“We are very pleased that we could agree terms with SKY Sport NZ as we know what live coverage means to the New Zealand public,” said CSA Chief Executive, Haroon Lorgat.

“The Test series between the two teams will be competitive and of great interest as both teams will fight hard to improve their positioning on the Test rankings table,” added Lorgat.

SKY’s Director of Sport Richard Last said “The BLACK CAPS continue to do us proud on the world stage and we’re excited to have secured coverage of the Sunfoil Test Series for SKY Sport customers who we know are as eager as we are to cheer our team along.”

The broadcast schedule has been confirmed as follows:

1st Test - Durban

Friday August 19: 8pm - SKY Sport 4

Saturday August 20: 8pm - SKY Sport 4

Sunday August 21: 8pm - SKY Sport 1

Monday August 22: 8pm - SKY Sport 4

Tuesday August 23: 8pm - SKY Sport 4

2nd Test - Centurion

Saturday August 27: 8pm - SKY Sport 3

Sunday August 28: 8pm - SKY Sport 1

Monday August 29: 8pm - SKY Sport 1

Tuesday August 30: 8pm - SKY Sport 1

Wednesday August 31: 8pm - SKY Sport 3
